Are you a dedicated technician with a passion for emergency medicine and a commitment to providing exceptional care for critically ill or injured animals?

This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with some of the most talented veterinary professionals in the field.

This is a full-time overnight position with competitive shift differentials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia in patients, utilizing advanced anesthesia and monitoring equipment.
  • Triage emergency cases upon arrival, including obtaining vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.
  • Perform digital radiography with proper technique and patient positioning.
  • Understand normal ranges of vital signs, including heart and respiratory rates, temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Identify patients at risk for cardiac arrest and initiate CPR as necessary.
  • Accurately calculate medical dosages and administer medications through appropriate routes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in phlebotomy and the placement of intravenous catheters in peripheral vessels.
  • Mentor and train fellow team members.
