We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Clinic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
- Conduct initial assessments of patients, including taking vital signs, documenting patient history, and identifying any health risks.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Administer medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as ordered by care providers.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to oversee patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medical conditions, and the proper use of prescribed treatments and drugs.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the level of patient care.
- Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an outpatient clinic or FQHC setting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on patient-centered care.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to adhering to the highest standards of nursing practices and ethical conduct.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a huge plus.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule on day shifts.
