Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in the Vascular and Telemetry Unit at Wellstar Health System, Inc., you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with complex medical conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities

Perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide individualized patient care.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant information.

Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia or eligibility for licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
At least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a vascular or telemetry unit.
