AdvantageCare Physicians (ACPNY) is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in the field of cardiology stress testing. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our cardiology physicians to provide top-notch care for cardiac patients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cardiology physicians to provide medical services to cardiac patients
- Conduct stress testing procedures and interpret results
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in cardiology
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Studies or Master of Science degree in Physician Studies
- Graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
- Current NCCPA Board Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- 12 months of Nuclear Stress Testing experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office
