CNP Manager

The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNP Manager to oversee the planning, administration, and evaluation of the school cafeteria's operations. This key role is responsible for providing appealing and nutritious meals with exceptional customer service to students and staff.

• Plan and administer efficient cafeteria operations to meet the nutritional needs of students and staff.
• Manage the school cafeteria within the guidelines and regulations of the National School Meal Program, State and County government, and local health department.
• Supervise and schedule employee work hours to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
• Provide instructions and guidance to employees on daily duties, food preparation, and serving line operations.
• Ensure compliance with Federal/State regulations regarding school lunch and breakfast programs.
• Maintain accurate inventory of food and supplies, including verifying deliveries and submitting orders.
• Complete monthly reports, including claims for reimbursement, and submit them to the Central Office.
• Attend meetings and maintain files of correspondence, policies, inventories, and reports.

• Associate's degree from an accredited college or 7 years of experience in large quantity food production, preferably in a school setting.
• Current food service manager certification in food safety and sanitation, including ServSafe certification.
• Ability to maintain a high standard of professional conduct and adhere to East Baton Rouge Parish School System policy.
• Proficiency in general computer use, email, and other job-specific equipment, software, and applications.
