Job Overview:

In this role, you will operate under general oversight to facilitate the handling, storage, documentation, and inventory management of products both incoming and outgoing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the movement, storage, documentation, and inventory management of products.
  • Occasionally perform high stacking tasks with a focus on speed, precision, and safety.
  • Utilize the SAP system and scanning devices to uphold inventory accuracy and record transactions.
  • Conduct inventory tasks as required.
  • Support the overall operations by engaging in sanitation, maintenance, and housekeeping duties as assigned.
  • May undertake general labor tasks on a seasonal basis.
  • Complete various reports and documentation, including daily lift sheets.
  • Adhere to Blue Diamond's HACCP protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety regulations.

This job description reflects the essential functions assigned by management; it does not limit the tasks that may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts.
  • Strong communication skills and a basic understanding of machinery operations.
  • Ability to climb ladders and catwalks as necessary.
  • Capable of identifying and resolving issues independently, coordinating workflow, and meeting production standards.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • OSHA Forklift Certification.

Physical Requirements:

This position may require the ability to meet the physical demands associated with heavy lifting to fulfill job responsibilities.

Work Environment:

Employees may work in proximity to energized equipment and hazardous materials. Exposure to various environmental conditions such as heat, cold, noise, dust, fumes, dirt, grease, and chemicals may occur.
