Mobile Device Repair Specialist

The Mobile Device Repair Specialist will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mobile devices while ensuring customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary between $37,500 and $45,000 annually, with uncapped monthly sales commissions. Our Techs make an average of $3-$8 extra per hour in commissions and tips. We also provide a range of benefits, including dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, vision insurance, life insurance, and paid sick leave.
Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, obtain a valid driver's license, and have a clean driving record. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and experience repairing electronics, smartphones, PC/MACs, and game consoles is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Safely travel to customer sites and arrive within the scheduled appointment window
- Inform customers of job status (en-route, arrived, etc.)
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair devices
- Provide recommendations for problem resolution
- Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple-to-understand manner
- Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers
- Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standards
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment
- Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations
- Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all van stock and equipment
- Utilize the point-of-sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and the real-time status of each repair
