Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our residents. This position requires a compassionate and skilled individual who can provide direct nursing care, oversee medication administration, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Monitor residents' health status, observing for any changes or signs of deterioration.
  • Provide wound care, catheter care, and other necessary medical treatments.
  • Educate residents and their families about health conditions, medication management, and self-care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare providers, and family members to coordinate resident care.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience in geriatrics or long-term care preferred.
