Key Responsibilities:- Administrative Supervision: Provide administrative supervision to the nursing department in the absence of senior leadership, utilizing the hospital administrator as needed for consultation.
- Nursing Services Management: Manage nursing services and ensure the quality and safety of nursing care provided across the organization.
- Staff Management: Supervise and manage nursing staff, including patient/family/visitor relations and interdepartmental clinical and non-clinical activities.
- Patient Flow and Bed Assignment: Coordinate patient flow and bed assignment throughout Penn Medicine Princeton Health, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Incident Command Center: Collaborate with the administrator on call to initiate the incident command center and reallocate resources as needed during crises or surges.
- Education: Bachelor of Arts or Science in Nursing or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting, with 2+ years of experience in a leadership/management/hospital operations role preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.
