We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Providence Seaside Hospital. As a Travel Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units.
- Position patients for optimal imaging results and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Develop and process radiographic images, including X-rays and fluoroscopy images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in the state of Oregon.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably in a radiology department.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate imaging equipment, with minimal physical assistance.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
