POSITION SUMMARY:
Operate robotic systems to fabricate welded components.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning and upkeep of cones/tips, replacing welding wire, and maintaining a tidy work area.
  • Ensure proper loading of components, adhering to the specified sequence, and accurately identifying quality welds.
  • Compile various reports and collect data, such as First Time Quality (FTQ), work generation, and scrap reports.
  • Notify supervisors of any defective welds and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain detailed logs of daily robotic operations.
  • Adhere to high standards of cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
  • Capable of performing minor repairs on welds as needed.
  • Effectively utilize current processes for job assignments.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills.
  • Uphold the core values of Polaris.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous welding experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Willingness to participate in Robot Training.
