As an Energy Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating MN8's renewable fleet across the country. You will utilize SCADA and CMMS systems to ensure proper and safe operations, identify and dispatch personnel to correct deficiencies, and communicate with external parties such as Scheduling Coordinators and Transmission Operators.

The ideal candidate will have a 2-year technical degree, military experience in a technical field, or equivalent industry experience. They should also have operational knowledge of solar, storage, or EV charging, and experience with SCADA systems, PLC, or plant control systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and operate sites as directed by procedures and Operational Directives.
  • Utilize provided information to make decisions with financial impact on the company.
  • Interact with Field personnel, Grid Operators, and customers.
  • Ensure all identified site issues have a corresponding, properly documented ticket within the CMMS.
  • Review and ensure logging of regulatory calls, resets, and other items not handled by the CMMS system.
  • Investigate and escalate identified issues to Performance Engineering as required.
  • Ensure operation and maintenance activities meet or exceed contractual obligations.
  • Provide information and support to dispatched field personnel to ensure successful site response.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
