We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Floater at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive impact in the healthcare field.
About the Role
In this vital position, you will provide top-notch care and support to our senior clients. Your responsibilities will include fulfilling personal care needs, managing medication requirements, monitoring health status, and maintaining accurate records of all provided care. Additionally, you will offer meaningful companionship, assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation, and run errands as needed. Your main focus will be creating a safe and comfortable environment that promotes the overall well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in fulfilling their personal care needs, ensuring their utmost comfort and preserving their dignity.
- Manage and provide comprehensive support for clients' medication requirements.
- Monitor clients' health status and promptly report any changes to the nursing supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of all provided care and diligently document any observations or concerns.
- Offer meaningful companionship, emotional support, and actively listen to clients, promoting their overall well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, proficiently handle meal preparation, and expertly run errands as necessary.
- Create and maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our valued clients.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Hawaii, possess a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a healthcare setting, and have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation. You should also be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while maintaining a full-time schedule. Exceptional levels of compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills are essential. Additionally, you should be able to multitask efficiently and skillfully prioritize tasks. A thorough background check and drug screening are required. You should also possess a strong work ethic and exhibit unwavering dependability. The ability to adapt to various tasks and environments is crucial, as is outstanding communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and the healthcare team.
Benefits:
This rewarding position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, guaranteed payment for a full 40 hours per week, regardless of the actual number of hours worked, and comprehensive health insurance coverage.
