Job Title: Pediatric PACU Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Anesthesia Care team at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI. As a Pediatric PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical and procedural care.

Responsibilities:

* Provide independent peri-anesthetic management of complex surgical and procedural patients
* Care for a varied case load of surgical and procedural patients
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

* Minimum of six months of current independent PACU, Emergency Department, Surgical Critical Care, Surgical ICU, or Surgical IMC experience
* Preferred - Two or more years of current independent PACU, Emergency Department, Surgical Critical Care, Surgical ICU, or Surgical IMC experience
* Registration as a professional nurse in the state of Wisconsin
* Basic Life Support/CPR certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ability to obtain within six months of hire
