Job Summary

CoolSys is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for the installation of refrigeration systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with customer specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install refrigeration systems, including piping, electrical wiring, and other components
  • Provide support on construction jobs, including piping cooler boxes and refrigeration cases
  • Install pipe hangers and perform other duties as assigned by the foreman
  • Assist the foreman as needed on the job, including welding and slip-hosing copper pipes
  • Install new supermarket refrigeration systems or remodel existing systems
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience and trade or technical school classes
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in commercial refrigeration, electrical, and/or fixtures construction
  • EPA Certification (Type II)
  • Experience in copper brazing, market remodeling, and good driving record
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, carpentry, refrigeration systems, and plumbing
  • Ability to read blueprints and use hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of job site safety and ability to oversee work activities to ensure safe work practices
