Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care in a travel capacity. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, focusing on outpatient therapy.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory: Geriatrics, neurology, orthopedic care, outpatient clinic experience
  • Preferred: Sports medicine, sliding boards, moist heat therapy, phonophoresis, ultrasound, medication management, EPIC proficiency, BCLS certification
Job Details
  • Shift: 07:00 - 17:30
  • Patient Visits: Approximately 10 per day
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year
  • First-time Travelers: Accepted
  • Weekend Work: Not required
  • On-call Duties: Not required
  • Floating Requirements: Not applicable
  • Local Candidates: Not accepted
  • RTO Restrictions: 7 days
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Essential Qualifications
  • Experience in outpatient physical therapy, particularly with orthopedic and neurologically involved patients
  • Proficiency with electronic health records, especially Epic
  • Strong communication skills, compassion, teamwork, and adaptability
  • Required skills include AROM/AAROM/PROM, assistive devices, body mechanics, pain assessment, strength testing, vital signs monitoring, and comprehensive documentation
  • Familiarity with equipment such as crutches, gait belts, standard walkers, and traction tables
  • Ability to develop home exercise programs and educate patients and families on safety and injury prevention
  • Licensed for manual therapy practice
Schedule Information

The work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, with Wednesdays off and no weekend shifts required.
