As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess and manage critically ill patients, including those with cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or North Carolina
- BSN or MSN degree, with a focus on critical care or a related field
- ACLS certification, with PALS or ENPC certification preferred
- Experience working in an ICU or critical care setting, with a strong understanding of critical care principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
