Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders. This role requires exceptional communication and patient care skills, as well as the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operates all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique
- Provides correct patient identification, technique, education, instruction, and transportation, as necessary
- Meets all computer and documentation competencies
Requirements:
- Graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Program preferred
- Must have ultrasound certification through ARDMS, ARRT (S) or CCI (If hired without a license, ARDMS or ARRT(S) or CCI certification required within 24 months of obtaining position) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified
