Key Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care, advocating for patients' rights and dignity
- Coordinate and deliver quality patient care, working collaboratively with ancillary services
- Administer medication safely and accurately, in accordance with California licensure
- Perform various patient tests and instruct patients on procedural preparations, under the supervision of a clinician or RN
- Maintain and clean exam/treatment areas and medical equipment
- Assist physicians and patients with insurance authorizations, using correct CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Collect, label, and transport specimens to appropriate destinations
- Maintain logs, records of medical procedures, and inventories of supplies
- Answer telephone calls, taking messages and referring calls to the doctor or licensed nurse as appropriate
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse program
- Current LVN licensure to practice in California
- I.V. therapy and phlebotomy certification
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)
- PALS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- 1+ years of experience working as an LVN/LPN
- Bilingual- English/Spanish
