Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator Renal to join our team at Mission Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and coordination of services in our Renal department.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
Requirements
  • One year of RN experience
  • Preferred experience: one year hospital nursing experience
  • Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position
  • Preferred Education: Masters in Nursing
  • Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
  • Required Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider
  • Preferred Certifications: National Certification in area of specialty
