Position Overview:

Synerfac is looking for a skilled Lead Tax Consultant to enhance our tax services team. This role is essential for delivering exceptional tax solutions and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review a diverse range of tax filings within established timelines.
  • Address tax inquiries, compile and document research outcomes, and cultivate rapport with clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and team members.
  • Prepare and review complex corporate, partnership, and S-Corporation tax returns; manage personal tax filings of varying complexities; generate intricate tax forecasts and respond to tax inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting; CPA, JD, or MS in Taxation is advantageous.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in public accounting within a tax-focused team.
  • Comprehensive understanding of applicable professional standards, evolving laws and regulations, and corporate governance protocols.
