**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Head Coach for our High School Boys Volleyball Team at Destiny Christian Academy (DCA). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team to success, developing the skills of our student-athletes, and upholding the values of our academy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Selection and Management: Select a team to represent DCA in league play, ensuring a competitive and balanced roster.
- Student Behavior and Discipline: Monitor and manage student behavior, maintaining a positive and respectful team environment.
- Progress Evaluation and Planning: Evaluate student progress, plan practices, and develop strategies to improve team performance.
- Counseling and Support: Provide guidance and support to students as required, promoting their personal and academic growth.
- Game Attendance and Team Representation: Attend all games and meets, representing DCA with pride and professionalism.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Coaching Experience: Formal coaching training at the college or high school level, with a proven track record of success.
- Sport Knowledge and Rules: In-depth knowledge of volleyball and its rules, regulations, and strategies.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
This position requires occasional physical effort, including lifting and moving equipment or supplies. The employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of professionalism under pressure.
The employee will be required to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekend and evening hours. A valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance are necessary for this role.
