Product Analyst Job Description

Blocksource is seeking a highly skilled Product Analyst to join their team in New York. As a Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing actively managed ETFs and private placement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quantitative analysis, backtesting, and modeling techniques to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative investment strategies.
  • Conduct data analysis and work with third-party vendors to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate and improve existing products to ensure they meet the company's high standards.
  • Participate in buy-side research to stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in quantitative finance, preferably with ETFs or hedge funds.
  • Strong skills in statistical modeling and strategy development.
  • Familiarity with CTAs, trend-following strategies, and ETFs.
  • Understanding of alternative investment strategies.
  • Personal interest in crypto and blockchain.
