Position: Journeyman Commercial HVAC Service Technician
This role involves servicing and repairing commercial heating, cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation systems. Responsibilities:
- Perform service repairs and maintenance on various commercial heating and air conditioning systems
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Communicate technical training needs to the Service Manager
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service
- Possession of a St. Louis County Journeyman License or willingness to obtain
- Experience in boiler maintenance and repair
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA Universal Certification
- Ability to work from extension and step ladders
- Understanding of the benefits of preventive maintenance
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Safe operation of scissors and genie lifts
- Possession of necessary industry tools
- Successful completion of a background check and drug test upon conditional offer
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of an HVAC technical school program or a 2-year degree
- Willingness to pursue further education in specialized HVAC equipment
- Certification in Daikin and/or Mitsubishi VRF/VRV systems
- Experience in chiller maintenance
- Experience in servicing and maintaining walk-in coolers
