Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography procedures, utilizing General Electric Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed, and HD750 Computerized Tomography Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform computed tomography procedures according to established operating procedures, clinical protocols, and imaging techniques.
  • Address minor customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of inpatients and outpatients to ensure efficient utilization of CT equipment and personnel.
  • Perform Quality Assurance Tests on CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality and equipment performance.
  • Obtain patient history and other relevant clinical information, and document all patient information on appropriate forms.
  • Prepare images and clinical information for interpretation by a radiologist.
  • Start IVs, prepare and administer contrast material, and monitor patient condition during the CT procedure.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology program.
  • 2 years of experience in radiology.
  • ARRT Registry (RT).
  • IDNS License.
  • CPR.
  • IV Certification within 3 months of date of hire.
Working Conditions:
  • Able to respond to requests to work on short notice.
  • Flexible in starting times to meet demand.
  • Exposed to infectious diseases.
  • Must take call.
  • Willing to work overtime when requested.
