Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gardeners with Drivers License to join our team at Monarch Landscape Companies Defunct. As a key member of our landscape maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of commercial landscapes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain job sites as instructed by Foreman, including mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, trimming, and hand pruning.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including 21" and 36" mowers, power hedge trimmers, power shears, backpack blowers, and aerators, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Trim shrubbery with hedge trimmers and demonstrate basic hand pruning skills.
  • Operate all vehicles and equipment in accordance with Monarch Safety Policy.
  • Adhere to company dress code policy and wear clean clothes to work each day.
  • Follow inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License issued from the state of employment.
  • Commercial landscape experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Foreman and team members.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
  • Strong commitment to high-quality work and customer service.
  • Ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out tasks.
  • Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

  • Frequently works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
