Cedar Fair is looking for a Food Services Area Supervisor to support the management of our In-Park Food and Beverage Division, focusing on effective oversight of their designated area within Food Services.

This role is crucial in ensuring quality and cost efficiency of food, beverages, and service, while consistently meeting budgetary objectives.

The individual will be expected to continuously seek enhancements in standards within their area of oversight.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
Achieve all financial and budgetary targets.


Act as the on-duty manager for Food & Beverage on a rotating basis, emphasizing in-park operations, appropriate staffing levels, and addressing guest inquiries as they arise.

Ensure exceptional guest service is maintained across all units.

Ensure all cost controls for food and labor are met to facilitate a positive budget outcome.

Ensure compliance with all state and local health regulations on a regular basis.

Initiate corrective actions and improvements as necessary or as directed by upper management. Responsible for maintaining accurate reports within their area of oversight.

Inspire employees to consistently pursue enhancements in their individual performance.

Ensure adherence to corporate and divisional policies and procedures at all times.

Maintain effective communication with all team members and staff.

Keep management informed of all developments within the area on a daily basis.

Adhere to and enforce all Cedar Fair policies and procedures, including safety, attendance, and EEO policies, while demonstrating a commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Education:
High School Diploma or GED

License or Certification:
Valid driver's license. Valid Food Handlers card or ability to obtain one post-hire.

Experience:
A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in multi-unit, high-volume food and beverage operations.

Equivalency:

Directly related experience or a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of the above requirements.
