Senior School Speech Therapist

Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive hourly rate, with guaranteed hours and weekly paychecks. Full-time employees are also eligible for health, vision, dental, and 401k benefits after working at least 30 hours per week.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior School Speech Therapist, you will assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to support their communication needs. You will provide direct therapy services to students in one-on-one and group settings, monitoring and documenting their progress to inform treatment adjustments. Your role will involve collaborating with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities, educating parents and guardians on strategies to support their child's communication development, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution, active licensure in Washington State, and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Previous school-based experience is highly preferred, but not required. You should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
