About the Role

Fabcon is seeking a skilled Concrete Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our precast concrete manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections and tests of materials, products, and processes at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Data Entry and Reporting: Accurately enter production and quality data into our computer system, identifying and documenting any quality issues or problems.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously look for opportunities to improve material, processes, and products, and implement changes as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with production and quality management teams to resolve quality issues and improve overall quality standards.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and share knowledge with colleagues to enhance their technical skills.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to read blueprints and production drawings.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical and math skills, and ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with production and quality management teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience performing concrete tests and quality control in a manufacturing environment.
