About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care services, including evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Provide direct patient care services, including therapy sessions and education
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • California Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Registration with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • At least 300 clock hours of direct patient care experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in neuro-rehabilitation and dysphagia
  • 6 months of experience in an acute care or rehab hospital
