Job Summary

The Construction Estimator will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Level Estimators and contributing to the company's pursuit of new work. This position offers continuous mentoring and training, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing conventional bids to owners
  • Prepare negotiated estimates to owners
  • Receive and evaluate subcontractor and major material quotations prior to bid day and on bid day
  • Solicit and maintain communication with subcontractors and vendors
  • Transmit addenda and other bid information to subcontractors
  • Ensure proper coverage from subcontractors on bid day
  • Work with the estimating team to strategize final bids
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a B.A. or equivalent experience in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture. Strong manual dexterity, adaptability, and a customer-focused approach are essential for success in this role.
