Radiology Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

Eligible for Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus for a Medical Imaging Professional

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare staff and physicians by collecting patient information to determine physical and psychological needs, address and identify health problems.
• Perform radiographic exams as required with general equipment, functioning as a member of the healthcare team with responsibilities commensurate with training and demonstrated competencies.
• Effectively communicate with patients to determine changes in health status since last visit, including medications, and record in electronic medical records.
• Perform all radiographic exams as required, maintaining appropriate and efficient patient flow through exam and treatment areas.
• Assist physicians, ARNPs, and nurses with patient care, exams, tests, and procedures as designated.
• Accurately obtain and record vital signs, reporting abnormal readings as appropriate.
• Perform clerical duties as assigned, including assembling information for patient education, assisting patients with nutrition and toileting as needed, scheduling, and obtaining insurance authorizations for medications.

Requirements:

• Basic Medical Assistant experience or training.
• Rad Tech license.
• BLS certification required.
• Active AART and KBMIRT.
• MA/RT, Rad Tech, Radiology Technician.
