Role Objective:
The Retail Merchandising Specialist is tasked with pricing and organizing merchandise in customer stores. This position reports directly to the Merchandising Manager responsible for the designated service area.

The Specialist may be a permanent employee or a temporary Sales Trainee engaged in a continuous sales training program.

Compensation begins at $18.00 per hour.
Receive over $400 monthly in vehicle allowance and mileage reimbursement (vehicle must comply with company standards).
Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday.
Some travel is required (per diem and company-paid accommodations provided during travel).
Monthly phone allowance.

Key Responsibilities:


As a Retail Merchandising Specialist, you will travel to customer locations using your personal vehicle to meet with clients, positioning products in display areas according to established plan-o-grams, ensuring optimal use of store space.

You will be responsible for identifying critical needs and promptly notifying management of any concerns.

Additionally, you will evaluate customer sales and determine which products are underperforming or discontinued, making suggestions for replacement items that can enhance sales and profitability for the client.


Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Service assigned stores as scheduled on a daily basis.
Deliver exceptional customer service.
Execute merchandising tasks, including stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotation, and cleaning at customer locations.
Organize store shelves or display areas as required by each client.
Monitor potential issues at the store level and report to Sales and/or Sales Manager as necessary.
Ensure safe and clear store aisles.
Maintain assigned equipment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Report hours worked to the division using provided time sheets.
Carry out other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service abilities.
Previous merchandising and retail experience preferred.
Frequent physical activity—lifting products weighing between 5-25 lbs. throughout the day. May also lift cases or totes weighing up to 70 lbs.
