Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Nursing Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of nursing staff, ensuring that patient care is delivered in accordance with established standards and policies.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver high-quality patient care. Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing constructive feedback and coaching as needed.

Clinical Expertise: Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise in nursing practice, staying up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices.

Communication and Collaboration: Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration among nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the delivery of patient care.

Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance patient care and satisfaction.

Education and Training: Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver high-quality patient care.

Salary: The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in nursing, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Credentials: Current RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal state. BLS certification required.

Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong clinical expertise and problem-solving skills.
