In this role, you will be developing complex applications with a team goal of streamlining business operations and improving overall user experience. You will collaborate with colleagues in design and code reviews, use your excellent troubleshooting skills, and continually learn and apply relevant software development practices, patterns, tools, and technologies.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new modules on the home-grown security monitoring platform
  • Work with experienced engineers to deliver business value to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop scalable solutions using different technologies like .Net Framework, C#, Redis, Django, Celery, Python, and other open stack frameworks
  • Continually learn and apply relevant software development practices, patterns, tools, and technologies
  • Interface with multiple stakeholders and internal customers, as well as manage critical vendor relationships
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 3+ years of experience working in the software development industry
  • Experience with designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack web applications from scratch
  • Proficiency in Python required
  • Experience with full-stack technologies such as Django, .NET, Redis, Celery, PostgresSQL, and Splunk
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Jenkins for deployment and maintenance
  • Familiarity with Genetec video management system (including SDK and API) and associated security cameras/access control hardware (Axis, Hanwha, Gallagher, etc.) is a plus
  • Knowledge of application and information security best practices, as well as technical security tooling
  • Experience with writing Unit Tests is a plus
Benefits and Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $104,000-$210,000 per year, plus cash and stock awards, and benefits. The total compensation package includes:
