Position Overview:

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional clinical services to pediatric patients ranging from birth to 21 years old. This position operates within the defined scope of practice as established by the state regulations and the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital stands as a leading clinical and academic health institution, dedicated to providing specialized pediatric care for children facing complex medical challenges. We are recognized nationally across various specialties, ensuring access to cutting-edge treatments and therapies. Our facility is a vital pediatric referral center, equipped to handle intensive care services and complex surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality clinical care for pediatric patients
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team in both hospital and outpatient settings
• Exhibit proficiency in assessment and therapeutic interventions, applying evidence-based practices
• Participate in clinical reviews conducted by the Rehab Regional Manager

Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Speech Language Pathology
  • Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist by the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association (ASHA) within the first year of employment
  • Active licensure to practice Speech Therapy in the state
  • Strong command of the English language
