We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and guidance to other team members, including psychologists, therapists, and support staff.
- Medication Management: Prescribe and manage medications as needed, in accordance with state regulations and guidelines.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals on mental health topics, including medication management and symptom reduction.
- Education: Master's or PhD in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: Three or more years of experience in a mental health treatment program, with a minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity.
- Licenses and Certifications: Current professional license in Psychology, and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance coverage.
