Job Summary:

Arka Service is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join our team in Danbury, CT. As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for providing program support in reviewing test requirements, recommending appropriate test methods, and ensuring that the test program meets the requirements provided by each program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide program support in reviewing test requirements and recommending appropriate test methods
• Ensure that the test program meets the requirements provided by each program
• Design and release of specialized tooling
• Provide test procedures, collect data, and troubleshoot for the appropriate Engineering disciplines
• Design of specialized test equipment and software used to monitor and test hardware

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years with previous internship experience in electrical engineering or related field
• Orcad, AutoCad, LabView, PdmLink, MATLAB

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with troubleshooting CCA's at the component level
• Experience analyzing electronic component datasheets to support troubleshooting efforts and part obsolescence
• Review and analysis of test data
• Utilize test equipment software to assist with debug and provide test equipment support
• Ability to analyze test data failures supporting troubleshooting
• Prior history of working with Manufacturing and Engineering teams
• Use of Power supplies, DMM's, Oscilloscopes, and data acquisition systems

EHS/Environmental Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate, listen to, and interpret instructions, occasionally operate tools and/or machinery with hands and arms, and remain stationary for extended periods of time. The employee will use protective equipment when working with chemicals, move between workstations, reach, and replace equipment, and move items weighing up to 25 lbs. ITC & Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
