At Soliant, we are seeking a skilled School Physical Therapist to join our team. As a School Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing specialized therapy services to students with physical disabilities or challenges.
Responsibilities:- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' physical abilities, motor skills, and functional levels.
- Collaboration: Work with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to gather comprehensive information for individualized treatment planning.
Treatment Planning and Implementation:
- Personalized Plans: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and educational goals.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Utilize therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities to improve students' strength, range of motion, coordination, and mobility.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with certification in school-based physical therapy (if required by state).
- Experience: Experience working with children or adolescents in a clinical or educational setting.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of developmental disabilities, orthopedic conditions, and therapeutic interventions appropriate for school-aged children.
