As a Certified Radiation Physicist at Parkview North Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing essential physics support to Radiation Oncology, Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and the Health System. Your expertise will be instrumental in devising innovative applications of radiation physics principles to ensure general radiation safety.

Education and Qualifications

Must have a Ph. D. degree in Radiological Physics, Medical Radiation Physics, or Health Physics. Prior training in biological sciences, anatomy, physiology, radiation biology, and radiation dosimetry is also required. Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or the American Board of Medical Physics (ABMP) in Radiation Oncology Physics is mandatory.

Experience and Skills

Three or more years of experience in full-service radiation therapy centers or hospitals with a variety of radiation therapy equipment is necessary. Your skills in radiation physics principles, radiation safety, and innovative applications will be highly valued.
