We value good sales and design skills as the job involves designing framing with customers. Our talented framers perform meticulous preservation framing and have experience in all aspects of custom framing. Basic math skills are essential. Schedule is flexible depending on skills but may require 1-2 days of weekend work per week.
Key responsibilities include use of a computerized mat cutter, cutting moulding (wood or metal), mounting, glass, acrylic cutting, shadow box specialties, stretching and stitching of textiles or canvas paintings, fabric wrapping, mirror framing, and preservation techniques. We utilize industry-standard equipment including Valiani CMC, CTD double miter saw, underpinner, Frame Square saw, Morso chopper, Epson scanners, and large format printers.
The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative environment with our current staff. If you possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
