Intensive Care Unit Nurse Opportunity in New Mexico

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown for a challenging travel nursing assignment in Clovis, New Mexico.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in Med/Surg/Tele or Progressive Care unit, with ICU experience preferred. As a team player, they will be flexible and accustomed to fast-paced environments, having successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Additionally, the selected nurse must hold BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, with EPIC EMR experience being a plus.
About the Assignment
This 13-week contract offers a stable work environment, with varied shifts ranging from 12 hours to accommodate departmental staffing needs. The successful candidate may be required to float to other areas within the facility, including the ICU, and will be expected to perform skills within their scope of practice. Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of their permanent assigned location.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess an active NM or compact license, as well as meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of two years' experience in Med/Surg/Tele or Progressive Care unit
- Current certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- EPIC EMR experience (a plus)
- Ability to work varied shifts, including 12-hour rotations
