Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team in Bakersfield, California. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue. Your expertise will play a crucial role in diagnosing medical conditions and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' anatomy
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including bone densitometry, general radiography, and fluoroscopy
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients of all ages
  • Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT))
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) licensure in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Fluoroscopy licensure in the state of employment (preferred)
  • Venipuncture certification (preferred)
