Job Title: Sanitation Technician I

At Litehouse, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician I to join our team. As a Sanitation Technician I, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and upholding our company's core values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all job duties and operations in a safe manner, adhering to federal, state, and Litehouse regulations and policies.
  • Clean and sanitize tanks or other food storage containers, and maintain a clean work area.
  • Inspect completed tasks to verify conformance to specifications, including required paperwork/documentation.
  • Utilize tools, chemicals, cleaning equipment, water, and other items to perform duties.
  • Adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to your supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to access and identify mechanical and/or electrical problems during disassembly and reassembly of equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company
Working Conditions:
  • Standing 85%
  • Near Acuity Speaking - Ordinary Speech Hearing - Ordinary Conversation
  • Lifting requirements: Frequently; up to 55 lbs.
