Rudd Equipment Company is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex hydraulic, electrical, and drive-train systems on heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical deficiencies on heavy equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance on hydraulic, electrical, and drive-train systems
- Use welding and fabrication skills to repair and modify parts as needed
- Work in a safe manner and adhere to all safety regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school graduate preferred
- Experience with Volvo construction equipment a plus
- Ability to read and analyze technical information from schematics
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this position include continuous lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds. The incumbent must also be able to work in extreme variable outside weather conditions, both hot and cold temperatures.
Estimated Salary:
$60,000 - $80,000 per year
