Job Summary

The Club Fitter at Worldwide Golf Shops is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with our values, including the Sure No Problem philosophy. This philosophy means putting the customer first and doing whatever it takes to ensure a memorable and positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Golf Product Knowledge: Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise, and sale advertisements.
  • Customer Service: Evaluate customers' needs, apply knowledge of golf club features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf clubs for the customer.
  • Product Education: Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
  • Launch Monitor and Golf Simulator: Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customers with valuable data during the golf club fitting process.
  • Inventory Management: Research merchandise availability via computer database, requisition merchandise from the stockroom, and take inventory of stock where needed.
  • Store Maintenance: Assist with vendor's floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf Shops and vendor's standards.
  • Process Improvement: Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking, and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
  • Technical Skills: Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet, and order processing systems.
  • Availability: Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
Qualifications
  • Golf Knowledge: Golf knowledge/background is required.
  • Experience: 1+ years of club fitting experience is preferred.
