Python Developer with Data Science Focus

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Python developer with Azure cloud knowledge to bring Purview classification results to On-Prem and load it to data mart for data sensitivity reporting.
About the Job:
As a Python Developer with Data Science Focus, you will be responsible for building applications in On-Prem and connecting to EventHub and Purview APIs in Azure to bring in classification information. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based applications using Python and Azure technologies.
- Building applications in On-Prem and connecting to EventHub and Purview APIs in Azure.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Python programming experience with knowledge of collections, OOP, higher-order functions, pandas, exception handling, multiprocessing, packaging, design, and architectural patterns.
- Azure Cloud technology experience with knowledge of Azure functions, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Databricks, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, EventGrid/EventHub (AMQP, Kafka Endpoints).
- Purview API's and ability to define custom classifications and get relevant details according to project needs.
- Preferable skills: translating application agile storyboards and use cases into functional applications, testing code, debugging, finding bugs in code, manual testing, automation testing tools like PyTest and UnitTest, optimizing application for maximum speed and scalability, designing and implementing robust application focusing on high availability, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year
