About the Role

As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant at Sevita, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive therapy services to infants, children, and young adults with medically complex, developmental, educational, or other needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a Speech-Language Pathologist to develop and implement plans of care to diagnose and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Deliver high-quality treatment to children who utilize or benefit from the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.
  • Provide training and education to family members, caregivers, and other professionals as part of the care plan.
  • Document assessments and treatment plans consistently and thoroughly, adhering to professional and practice standards.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based treatments.
  • Maintain professional licensure and certification required to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited university.
  • Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license.
  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
