Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to work in our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The successful candidate will possess excellent patient care skills, be able to work well in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate the physio monitoring system and complex imaging equipment in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
  • Assist the cardiologist or vascular surgeon during cardiovascular/interventional procedures.
  • Maintain aseptic technique when opening sterile supplies, setting up procedures, and during all invasive procedures.
  • Assist in positioning, prepping, and draping of patients for procedures.
  • Give patient explanations and verbal reassurances consistently.
  • Set up and scrub for procedures in a timely manner.
  • Operate all equipment safely and correctly.
  • Perform preventative maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure proper functioning prior to each procedure.
  • Ability to work as a team member, assists physicians, and assists with the interpretations of data collected.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiography Program.
  • Current ARRT certification and State Licensure.
  • One year's experience in a cardiovascular lab required.
  • Current ACLS/BLS Certification.
