As an Occupational Therapist at ProCare Therapy, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students in South Bend, IN.
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team for the upcoming school year. In this full-time role, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment providing essential therapy services to students from PreK through 12th grade.
Your Impact:
- Role: Full-time position working five days a week.
- Setting: Onsite, serving students across grades PreK through 12th.
- Caseload: Manage a caseload with varying needs across multiple locations.
- Focus: Deliver both direct and indirect therapy services to enhance students' functional skills.
What You'll Do:
- Assess and Plan: Conduct comprehensive assessments and create tailored therapy plans to address the unique needs of each student.
- Intervene and Support: Provide direct therapy sessions and collaborate with educators on indirect services to ensure seamless integration into students' educational experiences.
- Collaborate: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop a cohesive approach to meeting students' therapy needs.
- Monitor and Adjust: Regularly track progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans to optimize outcomes.
- Engage: Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions that cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting their independence and self-confidence.
Your day will be filled with working with a dynamic group of students and collaborating with a team of professionals. You will provide therapy across multiple school sites and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in occupational therapy.
What We're Looking ForTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Licensure: Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) certification.
- Experience: Preferred experience working with students from PreK through 12th grade.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment: A dedication to improving students' functional abilities and making a positive impact on their lives.
We offer a competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $65,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
